Here is a nice letter (e-mail) we received from Jerry Fox, who, along with his wife Mary, skated with us on February 19th.  Jerry and Mary are from Washington, D.C.  Reprinted with permission.

Mary and I wanted to thank you and the HB rollers for
letting us skate with you this past Saturday. We had
a fantastic time!!

The route was so scenic and so much fun to skate, plus
everybody was so friendly. As much as we have enjoyed
skating the trails from Santa Monica to the Palisades
and from Redondo Beach to Dockweiler, your skate was
definitely the best skate we have ever done in all our
California skates including skates in SF and SD. We
especially wanted to thank Nancy, Donna, JJ, Roger and
Aki (sorry but we never got their last names or their
email addresses to thank them personally) for being so
helpful and for the lunch at Wahoo's. Hey the HB
experience would not have been complete without a trip
to Wahoo's.

Of course we were so excited to see our photos on the
HB fun roll website - naturally I had to forward the
web address to all our skate friends here in
Maryland. Since I first found your website in late
December, I have been viewing each week's fun roll
photo on your website so it was a treat to know that
we are now part of the history of the fun roll. Our
only regret is that we had to leave on Tuesday morning
and did not get the opportunity to do the Long Beach
Tuesday night skate.

As things stand now, Mary and I plan to return to the
LA area in mid to late July if not sooner for 8 days.
For this visit we would like to do 2 Saturday fun
rolls and a Tuesday night Long Beach skate and maybe
even a Friday night skate in SD. I would love to be
able to convince some of our Maryland roller friends
to come along, but that maybe a difficult sell.

If you or any of the HB group ever comes East to the
Washington DC or Baltimore MD area we would love to
take you skating on the trails near us.
Just email us with the dates you would be arriving --
of course keep in mind that our skate season here
doesn't begin for real until late March.
